The question in the title is a very common one asked by our clients when they think about the future of their business. It is true, that becoming a business owner is easier than managing the position of a business owner. And when we justify what we think we need to do in our business by comparing ourselves to certain businesses that do things a certain way, it can easily feel overwhelming and stressful.
The fear of 'not being able to manage it all' in their business simmers down, because they're not doing ALL the things. They have a clear focus, healthy boundaries, and a pathway for a successful business that's simplified and uncomplicated.
These 3 things will support you. Read the article to find out.

This was a question a coaching client asked me this week when she thought about the future for the business she was building.
"But there's just so much to do", she says. "I look at what other businesses are doing out there and it looks like you have to be on a gazillion platforms just to market myself."
When we look 'out there' in the internet world, it certainly looks like everyone and their dog is on Instagram, starting a podcast, or creating dance moves on Tik Tok (I still don't get this platform by the way!).
And when we justify what we think we need to do in our business by comparing ourselves to certain businesses that do things a certain way, it can easily feel overwhelming and stressful.
Indeed, how CAN we manage it all if these were the only examples of a 'successful business'?
You may not be seeing some wonderfully successful businesses because at times, they're not even on social media. They're quietly doing what they do best...like building relationships, sparking meaningful conversations through 1:1 calls, or creating a loyal referral network.
In my many years of working with Introverts (80% of my clients are these breed of humans!), the strategies and activities that are successful for them isn't usually what you see out there, in the 'loud and proud' world of social media.
The way they sell their work, how they market, and the way they connect best with an audience, needs to be aligned with their personality type and strengths
The truth is, if you wanted to experience a sustainable and enjoyable business, you'll need to start designing how you do business intentionally.
Whether you're an introvert, extrovert, or anything in between. And the best time to do this? When you start a business for the first time.
It's a beautiful time where you can build the boundaries you need to feel healthy in your business, and make conscious choices for activities that feel good to you before the 'busyness' of running a business takes over.
It's a beautiful time where you can build the boundaries you need to feel healthy in your business, and make conscious choices for activities that feel good to you before the 'busyness' of running a business takes over.
An important process I take clients through in my signature program, 90 Day Launch, helps them to design a way of working that fits with their 'genius-zone', natural strengths, and style of working.
When we do this together intentionally, their offers, sales strategy, and marketing efforts feels like ease (and more like who they are).
The fear of 'not being able to manage it all' in their business simmers down, because they're not doing ALL the things. They have a clear focus, healthy boundaries, and a pathway for a successful business that's simplified and uncomplicated.
Most importantly, they get more done in less time. The 3 things that supports them to do this?
1. Building New Habits
No more comparing their business to other people's or obsessively scrolling the internet to see what people are doing online. They get new habits in place for the business THEY want to build. These habits help to them to achieve results because they're consistent in growing their business, their way.
2. Taking Bite-Sized Actions
With tiny bite-sized actions, new habits form more easily. And most importantly, you'll gain better momentum for achieving your goals than taking too big of a chew. One of my students in the 90 Day Launch program said that she got more done in her business in 3 months than she did in another year long program she did previously because she was focused on her foundations first, before taking on more advanced marketing programs.
3. Focusing On Your 'Sweet Spot'
When you're spending time on activities that doesn't appeal to your values, strengths, and personality, guess what happens? You drag your feet and procrastinate. One thing I do differently than any other program out there is the focus on personalized strategies, so that you'll actually do the things you want to do to grow your business.
Creating a fulfilling business you'll enjoy and sustaining it for the long term is what I want most for you.
You have gifts to share. Knowledge to teach. Wisdom to impart on the people who need what you've got.
And when you can have a business that allows you to do all that without complicated steps, you'll get to focus your time on putting great work out there in the world.
If this is something that's important to you, take a look at how I can help you achieve this in my 90 Day Launch program right here.
Then, jump on a complimentary 15-minute discovery call to have a chat with me.
You'll get to tell me more about the business you want to build and I'll share what YOU need to have a clear vision and uncomplicated plan to start and grow a meaningful business.
